Good morning Sapphire Class. Only 5 more sleeps to go!
For today’s activity I would like you to tell an adult about all of the things that you are looking forward to doing when you are back at school. It could be playing in the mud kitchen, exploring the wildlife garden, having snack time with your friends, art activities, singing and dancing with your friends. Once you have had a chat with an adult, why not have a go at drawing the one thing that you are most looking forward to.
Tomorrow will be World Book Day so start getting your favourite books ready!
Have a great day Sapphire.
This little Sapphire has been using her fantastic counting skills to count up the different St David’s Day symbols. She has also been reflecting on her best memories of while she has been at home. She has enjoyed playing in the garden, playing in the snow, going to the park and walking her dog. Well done little Sapphire, keep shining your light.
This little Sapphire has been reflecting on her favourite memories while she has been learning at home. She has enjoyed riding her bike to the horses and she has drawn a picture of all of her friends that she is looking forward to seeing again. Well done little Sapphire, keep shining your light.

Good morning Sapphire Class! Welcome to Tuesday. We only have 6 more sleeps until we all come back to school.
For today’s activity we would like you to draw your family and describe the best memories from this time that you have been spending together. It could be that you really enjoyed playing out in the snow with your brother or sister. You may have enjoyed taking part in some baking with your mum or dad. You may have been on daily walks to the local park or woods. Talk to an adult and share these memories. It would be lovely to hear what you have enjoyed.
This little Sapphire has also been reflecting on how much he has missed his friends and he has written a list of their names because he can’t wait to see them. He has even drawn some wonderful pictures of them. Well done little Sapphire, you are letting your light shine.
This little Sapphire has been very busy this morning baking some delicious St David’s Day biscuits. Can you tell which flower they are?
She has also been reflecting on how much she can’t wait to see her friends and she has had a go at writing their names.
Great job little Sapphire, you are letting your light shine.
On Thursday 4th March 2021 it will be World Book Day.
We would normally all dress up at school however at this time we won’t be able to do this.
Therefore, to celebrate Sapphire are going to take part in an egg book character competition. We would like you to design an egg as your favourite book character. Look at some of these examples for ideas. Once you have designed your egg book character, please take a photograph and email to us so that we can share it on the blog on World Book Day. All egg book characters will receive a prize.
Get cracking!
